It's Your Move
LEVEL 2 - 11:15 AM
Hula is a dance form accompanied by a chant or song and taught by a kumu (teacher). It was developed in the Hawaiian Islands by the Polynesians who originally settled there. The hula dramatizes or portrays the words of the chant or song in a visual dance form. You will learn both 'Auana (Modern Hula) and Kahiko (Ancient Hula) styles. In our Hawaiian Hula Dance classes, you'll learn about the cultural origin of the dances we do. Contact Studio Administration via the button below or by calling 337-789-1186 if interested in beginning Hula classes.
